Project Manager (Microsoft Office Migration)
We're looking for an experienced MS Office Project Manager to manage the migration of Office 2007 to Office 2013 for a global bank, to improve efficiency and productivity, and deliver better services within the bank at lower costs.
About the Role
The Project Manager (MS Office Migration) will manage the overall project management process and work within the CTO End User Services, focusing on planning, implementing and deployment of large-scale IT Migration projects.
The successful candidate will need to:
  • Identify all in-scope users and devices, understand the global and regional requirements and connect these with the global project structure and delivery to ensure the enablement of the services are done in a seamless manner, on time and with no service impact to the user
  • Govern and proactively monitor the risk management processes, ensuring any requirements are fulfilled
  • Work with Microsoft and other Global Suppliers to ensure project and program objectives are met
  • Perform project planning, program updates, RAID tracking, dependency and stakeholder management
  • Act as a regional program escalation point
  • Ensure communication materials are properly distributed via the agreed channels and in conjunction with the bank's global communication strategy
  • Work with the supplier in monitoring the project on a country and regional level to manage the transition process for MSO 2007 to MSO2013
  • Interact regularly with global project team members
  • Perform other duties as per project requirements
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant project management experience in large-scale IT projects (impacting 10,000+ users) in an end-user environment
  • Must be either PMP or PRINCE2 certified
  • Senior project management skills (being analytical and structured) with excellent stakeholder management skills to be able to manage the overall project management process
  • Excellent communication skills and able to interact with team members of all levels, including virtual team interaction across different time zones
  • Proper reporting, planning and tracking of the project
  • MS Office Suite / MS Project
  • Experience in Financial Services industry is an advantage
