Programme Manager (Microsoft Office Migration)
We're looking for a highly motivated and competent Regional Programme Manager who will be focused on managing the planning, implementation and deployment of large-scale IT projects for a global bank.
About the Role
The Programme Manager (MS Office Migration) will work with the Portfolio and Programme Services (PPMS) team (part of the Chief Technology Office, End User Services) to manage the migration of Office 2007 to Office 2013 for the region.
The successful candidate will need to:
  • Identify, in conjunction with the Project Managers, all in-scope users and devices, understand the local/regional requirements and connect these with the global project structure and delivery to ensure the enablement of the services are done in a seamless manner, on time and with no loss of service
  • Govern and proactively monitor the risk management processes, ensuring any requirements are fulfilled
  • Work with the Global Managed Services Providers (MSP) to ensure project and programme objectives are met
  • Perform project planning, programme updates, RAID tracking, dependency and stakeholder management
  • Act as a regional portfolio and programme escalation point
  • Ensure communications to End Users are properly distributed via the agreed channels and in conjunction with the bank's global communications strategies
  • Work with the suppliers in monitoring the project and programme activities on a country and regional level
  • Maintain regular interaction with global project team members
  • Perform other duties as per project and programme requirements
  • Maintain PMO delivery standards - drive the execution and development of standards, tools, process and culture to ensure a consistent approach to delivery - from Project and Programme inception to implementation into production
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant project management experience in large-scale IT projects (impacting 10,000+ users) in an end-user environment
  • Must be either PMP or PRINCE2 certified
  • Have knowledge and experience in global/regional end-user services migration projects
  • Senior project management skills (being analytical and structured) with excellent stakeholder management skills)
  • Excellent communication skills and able to interact with team members of all levels, including virtual team interaction across different time zones
  • Proper reporting, planning and tracking of the projects and programmes
  • MS Office Suite / MS Project
  • Experience in Financial Services industry is a huge advantage
  • Minimum qualification of graduate or higher, or appropriate experience
