A well-established ICT organisation is seeking applications from experienced Java Developers to join a genuinely collaborative team. We welcome application from candidates of all levels of experience on Java/J2EE for this opportunity.

This role will be responsible for designing and documenting software solutions in Java and also contribute to architectural direction of the business platform. The Software Engineer (Java) is also responsible in taking the ownership of the product, driving innovative ideas and improvements, perform unit testing and debug system and fix defect in timely manner.

To be successful in this role the following skills and experience is required;

Strong knowledge of Java with atleast 3 years' experience in Java development of web applications
Good understanding of database concepts and strong knowledge of SQL
Experience in large scale systems software design and development experience, with extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux
Coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and knowledge of service-oriented architecture is a plus
Individuals who have focus on customer needs and generate innovative solutions
