Our client is a reputable online fashion retailer from Europe with offices all over the world. They are now looking for a communicative and problem solving candidate to join their global desktop support team.
Reporting to the IT Support Manager in Asia, the role will work closely with the company's IT services team to provide technical set-up, supporting desktop system and providing advices to IT users via email, phone, social media and in person.

Responsibilities: 
  • Provide support for all Windows and Mac based services and applications, hardware and software solutions to end users
  • Support desktop systems in warehouse and office, previous experience in e-commerce platform, retail system, Logistics and Distribution Centre are highly preferred.
  • Perform daily health checks, IT incident support, end-user and VIP support to front-to-back users, including but not limited to mobile and tablet devices, handheld scanners and warehouse systems
  • Monitor desktop systems in HK to track error, report to manager and solve these problems in early stage
  • Perform level 1 technical troubleshooting, regular maintenance and updates, diagnose the root cause and resolve the logged tickets
  • Following standard procedures for properly resolving support issues and to ensure security of desktop and mobile devices
  • Ensure the desktop systems are in line with all SLAs without minimal delay or error
  • Generate reports and prepare documentations for review

Skills and requirements: 
  • Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in helpdesk and end user support
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience in supporting Windows and Mac, Active Directory, e-mail exchange, mobile devices and remote desktop user support
  • Experience gained in sizeable firms, multi-cultural background and supporting over 50 users are preferable
  • Monitor system and identify potential risk and issues and resolve them
  • Good team player, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command in spoken Cantonese and English, Putonghua is a plus.  Able to prepare workflows, procedures and documents in English
  • Attention to details to ensure the quality of work
  • Qualified candidates with less experience are welcome to apply, you will also be considered as Assistant Engineer
  • Business trips to Mainland China and overseas occasionally
