Database Administrator (Microsoft SQL Server) - $30k+

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, such as implement backup and index maintenance, as well as monitor SQL server performance
• Develop SQL Server Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions
• Fine-tune T-SQL queries and enforce standard coding based on best practices
• Deploy changes on schema, modules and data from development to staging, and staging to production environment
• Maintain database high availability and ensure all production system works properly
• Maintain Database Mirroring and Log Shipping
• Generate ad-hoc reports and output data as requested by internal staffs
• Prepare and update documentation of database support related processes
• Provide database technical support to application developers

Requirements:

• High Diploma / Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline
• At least 2 years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MySQL is plus)
• Knowledge in development of SQL Server Stored Procedure is definitely an advantage
• Strong in technical support skills including troubleshooting and performance tuning is an advantage
