Job Responsibilities - 
  • You will develop timely, thought-provoking content programmes for SCMP Events and Conferences. 
  • You will also contribute new, commercially viable and timely ideas and themes for the Events portfolio. 
  • You will be working closely with the editorial team to ensure programmes meet the quality expected of the company brand. 
  • Conduct desk, phone and in-person research with high-level business executives and associations. 
  • Build and nurture high-level contacts and relationships with corporate leaders, influential industry bodies and inter-governmental organization in key markets in the region and around the world. 
  • Recruit senior-level speakers from different sectors, managing all aspects of the invitation to onsite coordination. 
  • Work with marketing team to create compelling, insightful content to help drive marketing and awareness campaigns. 
  • Support business development teams in client pitches and work with clients to help meet their content objectives. 
Job Requirments -
  •  Preferably with degree holder in Journalism major or related disciplines. 
  • At least 5 years experience in programme/content development and/or editorial roles. 
  • Proven track record of developing high-quality, creative content based on market research and aligned with the company brand and its editorial objectives. 
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships senior executives. 
  • Strong commercial acumen, excellent project management skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently and within tight deadlines. 
  • Professional communication in both English and Chinese.
