Business Analyst - BI tools focus

Our client is one of the leaders in the telecommunications industry, who looks to provide voice, multimedia and mobile broadband services through its territory-wide networks.

In order to cope with their expansion, they are looking for high calibre candidates for the Business Analyst (BI tools focus) position.

Duties

• Gather, analyze and document users’ request on the required data mart
• Interact with Data Warehouse team on data mart preparation
• Conduct regular end user training on BI tools
• Assist business users to understand and utilize the information available in Data Warehouse
• Develop reports and queries using BI tools as part of system solution when required

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Management with at least 3 years relevant experience
• Solid experience in BI tools. Experience in IBM Cognos or Tableau is an advantage
• Working knowledge on relational database is an asset
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese and capable to communicate effectively with all level of users
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Responsible and good team player under a multi-projects environment
• Mature, dynamic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
